Aroma is very nice. Lots of sweet malt, apple, corn, some faint hops, coriander and a splash of citrus and honey mixed in for good measure. Initial flavor is sweet, balanced citrus and apple. Lots of sweet honey and toasty malt. Citrus, apple, and a bit of sour cherry is detectable. Lots of character and a hint of booze induced warmth. Smooth, mellow and very well balanced. The caramel/honey sweetness really lingers too. The booze is well hidden and palatable. Clean but with a nice lingering buttery texture. Slick and a bit creamy taste in the finish. A definite buttery character in the flavor and the texture makes this brew go well with lobster. Extremely well crafted.
